Support Wildlife Rescue

Here are easy ways to support Wildlife Rescue and help us continue to serve Maryland animals. Our operating expenses are extremely high and we do not receive financial support from the local, state, and federal agencies we work with. Donations keep us operating, so if you feel our services are important, please donate!

• Donations - Individual donors are the lifeblood of our rescue work. Without the community's financial support, we could not continue our work on behalf of animals in need. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

• Matching Gifts -- Many employers match the donations of their employees and retirees. Please take a moment to send us your Matching Gift Form (usually obtained from your Human Resources Dept.) along with your donation and we’ll do the rest.

• Gifts of Securities -- An outright gift of appreciated securities, such as stocks or bonds, can help wildlife and you. You will receive an income tax deduction for the fair market value of the securities and avoid tax on the capital gain.

• Memorial Gifts -- Memorial Gifts honor cherished loved ones – a family member, friend or favorite pet – and enable us to continue our life-saving work. Wildlife Rescue, Inc. has many special needs, ranging from new caging systems and natural habitat areas to aid in the recuperation of injured animals, to major shelter repairs and improvements, all designed to enhance the quality of life of the animals in our care. Your Memorial Gift may also be made in the form of an unrestricted gift, to be used where the need is the greatest.

• Charitable Bequests -- Remembering Wildlife Rescue, Inc. in your estate plans can be as simple as including one or two sentences in your Will. It can also help you achieve a 100% charitable estate tax deduction. Learn more here.

• Gifts of Life Insurance Policies -- Life insurance policies that may have been purchased years ago to provide for children or other family members may no longer be needed. A donation of a life insurance policy can allow you to very affordably provide a significant gift to the animals.

• Corporate Partnerships -- Our Corporate Partners Program provides a variety of benefits to business donors. It’s also a great way for your company to demonstrate community commitment, promote goodwill, and reach those most interested in your products and services.
