"Not to hurt our humble brethren is our first duty to them, but to stop there is not enough.

We have a higher mission – to be of service to them wherever they require it."

-St. Francis of Assisi

Fall Festival

One of the fall festival’s youngest attendees gets to know one of our llamas.
Wildlife Rescue volunteers attend to silent auction items.
Wildlife Rescue volunteers Liz and Mark get two Red-tailed hawks ready for release.
Hawk number one takes off, and number 2 is about to be released.
The moon bounce kept kids jumping. All that exercise made for excellent naps on the way home from the festival and a good night’s sleep that evening.
Wildlife Rescue’s facility is an excellent place to enjoy the outdoors while learning about the creatures with which we share Maryland.
Liz and a Barred owl wildlife ambassador enjoy the festivities.
Kids and adults had the opportunity to meet our resident livestock.
